Step 1: Sign Up as a Shift4 Referral Partner

Signing up to be a Shift4 Referral Partner is quick and easy! Simply visit dine.shift4.com/referral to sign up.

On this page, you’ll need to complete a simple form that asks for basic information, including your name and contact details.

Once you’ve completed the form, you’ll be given access to Referral Rock — the referral management platform we use for the Shift4 Referral program. In Referral Rock, via your member portal, you can view the status of your referrals and payouts. (We’ll get to this later)

Step 2: Submitting Shift4 Referrals

There are two ways referrals can be submitted:

• Direct Add: This is the recommended method and allows you to submit referrals right from the dashboard of your member portal.
• Referral Link: You can send this to your referral for them to input their own information.

You’ll need to enter the merchant’s contact information, and you can choose to include details such as their website or your Shift4 Sales Representative.

Step 3: The Business Is Setup, Installed, and Processing

As soon as your referral form has been submitted, our sales team will contact the business. Now, you only need to sit back and relax while we do the rest! Our team will walk them through setup, installation, and processing.

Once the restaurant you referred is processing payments with Shift4, your $2,000* referral bonus payout will be triggered. You will be able to see that pending payout in Referral Rock.

Step 4: Payout is Issued

Cha-ching! It’s time for the money to roll in! Once your first pending payout has been approved, you’ll receive an email from Wise prompting you to create your account, enter your banking information, and accept your transfer.

After your first bonus, additional payouts will automatically be transferred. There’s nothing you’ll need to do except watch the money roll in!
